Testing accommodations

Testing accommodations are available to individuals with mental or physical disabilities as defined under Rule XVII of the Rules Regulating Admission to Practice Law in California.

All petitions for testing accommodations at the Oct. 25, 2011 legal specialization examination must be received at the State Bar offices in San Francisco by Sept. 26, 2011 at 5 p.m. 

Please note that you must also separately register to take the examination. 

When applying for Testing Accommodations, please fill out and return Form A along with any of Forms B-G that are necessary based upon your specific request:

• Form C - Testing Accommodations - Learning Disabilities Verification
• Form D - Testing Accommodations -  Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) Verification
• Form E - Testing Accommodations - Mental Disability Verification
• Form F - Testing Accommodations - Law School Verification
• Form G - Testing Accommodations - Bar Admissions Administrator Verification
