Testing accommodations

Testing accommodations are available to individuals with mental or physical disabilities as defined under Rule XVII of the Rules Regulating Admission to Practice Law in California. 

All petitions for testing accommodations at the Oct. 22, 2013 legal specialization examination must be received at the State Bar offices in San Francisco by Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.

Please note that you must also separately register to take the examination in order to secure a seat at the examination. If you wish, you may apply first for testing accommodations and later for registration, but standard deadline policy for registration will apply, and fees for registration rise for applications received after September 10, 2013.

When applying for Testing Accommodations, please fill out and return Form A along with any of Forms B-G that are necessary based upon your specific request:
